Limerick minor hurlers defeat Cork

THE Limerick minor hurlers have recorded back-to-back wins over Cork in the Munster championship with a 0-16 to 1-12 win.
This Wednesday night’s victory was Limerick’s first win in this grade in Pairc Ui Chaoimh since 1983.

LIMERICK’S senior hurlers got a morale boosting victory over Dublin in a low key challenge game to mark the official opening of new facilties in Cappamore GAA grounds.

CIARAN Carey won’t be replaced as Limerick hurling selector, according to Limerick GAA chairman Liam Lenihan.
The Patrickswell man resigned from John Allen’s management team over the weekend, but Limerick GAA chairman Liam Lenihan has confirmed that no one extra is to be added to the back room team.
Carey was in his second season as a Limerick selector - having served under Donal O’Grady last season.
